Memory Lane Concert Cruises proudly presents the greatest Doo Wop cruise of all time aboard the Norwegian Gem, one of the newest and most innovative cruise ships in the world.
Memory Lane Concert Cruise is a 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise featuring the crème de la crème of Doo Wop artists from October 6-13, 2013, included are many headliners of which were previous inductees in the prestige's Vocal Group Hall of Fame this is an incredible lineup featuring the. All appearing in full set concerts, a first aboard the Carnival Miracle one of the nicest ships afloat. Stops include the beautiful ports of Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta.
There are many other activities planned during the week including a Super Sock Hop, Autograph Sessions, Hosted Cocktail Parties, Jam Session, and Trivia Contest. If there is interest we may even have a rock and roll talent show There will also be drawings for ship services like, Spa Treatments, Dining with the Stars, Shore Excursions, Specialty Dining, Gift Shop Certificates, Photos and other related ship services. This is only a partial list there many other exciting activities planned.
There will be plenty of dancing for your enjoyment. The Carnival Miracle has all the state of the art sound equipment including a built in dance floor which is usual with many ships, most have to set up portable ones. Dancing will be allowed during concert performances if the stage is elevated enough to allow it without interfering with the other passengers view.
However this is a large concert showroom and holds nearly 350 people but we are keeping our group size well below that. So there will be plenty of space behind the seated passengers for dancing during the performances.
There will also be lots of dancing before each concert performance in our showroom by our DJ. Dancing will also be allowed during our jam session and sock hops.
There has never before been an event this spectacular, featuring these sensational Doo Wop artists, since those memorable days we spent at the Brooklyn Fox and Apollo Theaters. And you get all this while being pampered aboard the beautiful and breathtaking new ship, the Norwegian Gem!
